Our rates are calculated per hour, plus any travel expenses, ensuring you only pay for exactly what you need. For added flexibility, we offer interest-free payment plans, and we accept all major credit and debit cards for a smooth and hassle-free booking experience.

FAQs About Hiring a String Quartet for Your Wedding
What's the difference between a string quartet and a string trio?
A Wedding String Quartet consists of 4 musicians, whereas a String Trio has 3. The main difference is the volume, and fullness of sound. For smaller more intimate weddings, a trio will usually suffice. But for larger events, a quartet is advised. A string Quartet consists of 2 Violins, 1 Viola & 1 Cello. Whereas a String Trio Consists of 1 Violin, 1 Viola & 1 Cello.
Can I request special songs not on your repertoire list?
Absolutely! All of our wedding bookings include 2 free transcriptions. Meaning you can have any special song for your wedding day. Making the occasion truely unique.
How far in advance should I book?
We suggest booking as early as possible to reserve us for your special day. Get in touch to check our availability! We frequently take booking up to 2 years out, so the earlier the better!
How long does a typical performance last?
Wedding String Quartet performances can range anywhere from 1 hour to multiple days! Typically for a ceremony only, 1 hour will suffice, and between 1 & 3 hours for the drinks receiption. But don't worry! We'll talk you through all of the options.
Can I have any other instruments added to the ensemble?
Absolutely! We offer String Quartets with either Piano, Harp or Flute accompaniment.
How much does a String Quartet cost?
We quote all of our weddings individually, tailoring the prices to your unique event. Our prices start at £695 including VAT for a String Trio & £810 including VAT for a String Quartet
